Little Giant 115V 1/25HP 510GPH 2-MD-SC Semi-Corrosive Chemical Magnetic Drive Pump, 6ft Cord, Black/White

The Little Giant 2-MD-SC semi-corrosive chemical pump is designed for non-submersible, in-line use and features leakproof, seal-less magnetic drives. The volute, magnet housing, and impeller are made of glass-filled polypropylene to provide excellent chemical resistance. The ceramic shaft and thrust washers are 99.5% pure alumina, ensuring reliable service and wear resistance. Additionally, the pump's pumping heads are easily rotated, cleaned, or serviced without the need for special tools.

To prevent impeller damage during start-up and stopping, the spindle shaft is supported at both ends. The pump comes with a 6-ft. power cord with a 3-prong plug, making it suitable for home, commercial, or industrial use to pump moderately corrosive liquids such as acids, alkalis, solvents, brines, and plating/sterile solutions compatible with the pump's materials.

The pump is built for chemical compatibility, with a glass-filled polypropylene volute, housing, and impeller, as well as a ceramic shaft and thrust washers, and Nitrile O-ring. However, it does have limitations, including a specific gravity of up to 1.1, a fluid temperature of up to 150°F, and an ambient air temperature of up to 77°F.

The motor specifications include a thermally protected, open, fan-cooled motor that operates at 115-Volt, 1/25 HP, 60 Hz, 1.4 running Amps, and 109 Watts. It is CSA listed in the USA and Canada and is equipped with a 6-ft power cord and plug.

The pump specifications include a 1/2-inch FNPT intake, a 1/2-inch MNPT discharge, 510 GPH at 1-ft. head, 14.6 ft. shutoff, maximum 6.3 PSI, and fluid temperatures of up to 150°F. Additionally, it can handle ambient temperatures of up to 77°F.
