Non-Submersible Magnetic Drive Free Flow Aquarium Circulation Pump
The Little Giant 4-MDQX-SC is a non-submersible, free flow aquarium pump designed specifically for saltwater and freshwater circulation and filtration. It comes with a 6-foot power cord and is corrosion resistant to salt solutions and other semi-corrosive fluids. The pump has a 1 inch FNPT inlet and 1 inch MNPT discharge and delivers 1225 GPH at 3-ft. lift.
This non-submersible inline pump is ideal for in-line saltwater and freshwater aquarium circulation and filtration applications. It is built to last with a thermally protected motor, rated for continuous duty and corrosion-resistant. The pump is CSA certified to US and Canadian standards.
The construction of the pump includes a glass-filled polypropylene pump head, ceramic spindle shaft and thrust washers, coated ceramagnet A (barium ferrite) ceramic impeller, and nitrile o-ring seals.
Installation of the pump requires it to be operated with the volute intake below the liquid level and it is not self-priming. It is for inline use only.
The specifications of the pump include 1/10 HP, 1-inch FNPT suction, 1-inch MNPT discharge, 115 Volts, 1225 GPH at 3-ft. lift, maximum 17-ft. shut-off, and a 6-foot cord with a plug.
